What happens at the edges.
- What counts as an active standard term?
- A published document that recipients can currently accept. Drafts and retired documents don’t count. The Free plan allows 3.
- What happens when I reach a limit?
- You can’t add another document, client or contact until you remove one or move to Pro. Nothing you have recorded is ever deleted — acceptances are append-only on every plan.
- What happens if I go back to Free?
- Your records and every version of your documents are kept. Acceptances older than 90 days are hidden from your views — not deleted — until you are on Pro again, and certificates and exports are Pro features.
- Is identity verification paywalled?
- No. The emailed one-time code on acceptance is available on every plan. Only the certificate that documents it is Pro.
- How do I get Pro?
- Request it from Settings → Billing in the app, or write to us, and we set it up with you. Self-serve checkout is on the roadmap.
- Do my clients pay or sign up for anything?
- No. Recipients open a private link, read the text and accept. They never need an account.
